Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Banner (ranked 4094 p4p, 3602 weight class) and James Fury (ranked 487 p4p, 436 weight class). Banner comes to the cage accompanied by BILMURI - LORDFARQUADZILLA. Fury has chosen Astronaut in the ocean as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roddy Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Fury!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fury is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Banner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Banner is pushing Fury's head away, looking to escape. Fury manages to hold on to the position though.
Banner is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fury off and has taken his back!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fury turns into Banner and is now in his guard.
Roddy Banner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Fury drops back, looking for a kneebar! Banner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Banner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Banner!

I would just about give that final round to James Fury.
Well Banner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
