Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abigg Chungus (ranked 2378 p4p, 24113 weight class) and Luca Rossi (ranked 302 p4p, 634 weight class). Rossi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lamu. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abigg Chungus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luca Rossi! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chungus lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rossi at a distance.
Rossi walks into a stiff left hand from Chungus. Chungus closes the distance and clinches. Chungus lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rossi or not. Rossi is trying to break the clinch but Chungus is controlling him. Chungus lands a hook to the side of the head. Rossi is trying to push Chungus away but Chungus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Chungus controlling the action here for a moment.
Chungus stops a takedown attempt from Rossi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chungus pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've been told by Chungus's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Rossi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossi tries to clinch but Chungus is having none of it. Chungus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rossi was covering up waiting for the punch and Chungus finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rossi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chungus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chungus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chungus works a leg free and moves into half guard. Chungus keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chungus seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rossi for as long as he can get away with. Chungus uses his free foot to push down on Rossi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rossi. Chungus looking to control and managing it successfully. Chungus with a couple of short strikes. Rossi can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chungus scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rossi?
Chungus controlling the position easily from mount. Rossi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chungus punishing his opponent with strikes. Chungus working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. You get the feeling that Rossi really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chungus connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rossi sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Well, if Chungus is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Chungus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Rossi is looking to get back to is feet but Chungus passes into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chungus cracks Rossi with a big right hand but Rossi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Abigg Chungus dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Chungus lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rossi is looking to close the distance but Chungus sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rossi crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rossi is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Abigg Chungus! Luca Rossi spoke after the fight, saying 'I deserved to win'.
