Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bean Bryant (ranked 2169 p4p, 3810 weight class) and Kirk Lazarus (ranked 280 p4p, 470 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bean Bryant !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirk Lazarus!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazarus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bryant misses with a head kick.
Lazarus avoids the body shot from Bryant .
Lazarus changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lazarus digs a good hook to Bryant 's body.
Lazarus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lazarus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bryant manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bryant is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Lazarus felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Lazarus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bryant pulls his head out easily.
Lazarus wants to get back to full guard but Bryant has passed into side control.
Bryant is trying to get an arm triangle but Lazarus is defending well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bryant lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Lazarus sprawling to the canvas. Bryant follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Lazarus hang on?
Lazarus is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
It looks like Kirk Lazarus has been cut.
Bryant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lazarus keeps working.
Lazarus is still in real trouble! Can Bryant finish him?
Bryant seems to be working for a kimura but Lazarus defends the submission attempt.
Bryant lands strikes from half guard.
Bryant is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bryant with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bryant cracks Lazarus with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
