And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Manolito Spiteri!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiteri closes the distance looking to clinch
and De Cremonesi counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Spiteri onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
Spiteri is rocked!
It looks like Manolito Spiteri has been cut.
Spiteri leaves his chin hanging out and De Cremonesi seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Spiteri crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franko De Cremonesi!
Franko De Cremonesi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
