Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ali Amir (ranked 1656 p4p, 2027 weight class) and Paulius Zurauskas (ranked 226 p4p, 267 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Amir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulius Zurauskas!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zurauskas lands a nice shot to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zurauskas checks a leg kick.
Amir walks into a stiff left hand from Zurauskas.
It looks like Ali Amir has been cut.

Zurauskas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Amir walks away with a smile on his face. Zurauskas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Amir seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Amir will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amir is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zurauskas is just riding it out for now. Amir eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Amir is looking for a kimura but Zurauskas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Amir to get the leverage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ali Amir will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Zurauskas is aggressively charging in as Amir backs up avoiding any damage. Amir tosses out a jab and Zurauskas runs right into it face first! Zurauskas is out cold! Amir dropped down on all fours and is barking in Zurauskas's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Our winner, Ali Amir, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
