Watkins swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

We've been informed that McGuire has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
McGuire connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Watkins is trying to push McGuire away but McGuire has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
McGuire lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

McGuire has picked Watkins up - he's going for a ride! McGuire dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
McGuire works his foot free and advances to mount.
Watkins's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

McGuire seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Watkins is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
