And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hoshifumi Nagasa!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nagasa manages to avoid it.
Lynar scores with a nice strike.
Lynar lands with an uppercut that bounces Nagasa off the ropes and back into range.
Nice straight punches there by Lynar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lynar.
Nagasa tries to clinch up.
Nagasa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Lynar blocks a leg kick.
Nagasa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nagasa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Lynar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lynar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nagasa throws a right hand that Lynar ducks under and follows up with a left that Lynar also avoids with ease.

Lynar breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Nagasa with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Nagasa looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Nagasa get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

Nagasa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nagasa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lynar.

Lynar cracks Nagasa with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Nagasa get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Nagasa looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lynar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lynar digs a good body shot into Nagasa's ribs.
Lynar lands with a shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!

Nagasa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lynar has him pressed against the ropes.
Lynar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nagasa backwards.
Nagasa tries to stall but Lynar uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Lynar creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Nagasa crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!

Lynar connects with a quick right hand that sends Nagasa tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Sebastion Lynar!

Sebastion Lynar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
