Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Bobandy (ranked 3650 p4p, 3734 weight class) and Friend Friendly (ranked 129 p4p, 132 weight class). Friend Friendly will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Bobandy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Friend Friendly! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friendly tries to clinch up but Bobandy circles away and keeps his distance. Friendly shoots for a double leg takedown but Bobandy sprawls well. He's pushed Friendly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Friendly tries to close the distance and clinch but Bobandy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Friendly tries to clinch up. Bobandy tries to counter with a takedown but Friendly is quick to defend against it. Bobandy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bobandy lands in his opponent's guard. Bobandy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Friendly working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bobandy has passed into half guard!
Bobandy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Friendly is trying to stand back up but Bobandy is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Bobandy moves into full mount! Friendly won't be happy about that! Bobandy content just to control the position here. Friendly swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Bobandy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Friendly holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bobandy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Friendly throwing hammer fists to the chest of Bobandy. What's that going to do exactly? Bobandy dominating with strikes here. Bobandy fails to take his opponent's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bobandy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Friendly is trying to stand. Bobandy mounts Friendly! Really nice guard pass there! Bobandy content just to control the position here. Friendly throwing hammer fists to the chest of Bobandy. What's that going to do exactly? Bobandy controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bobandy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Friendly is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Friendly is looking to improve his position but Bobandy isn't that keen on the idea. Bobandy controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Friendly is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Bobandy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Friendly is on top in guard.
Bobandy pulls Friendly in to control the position. Friendly wants to control from the top but Bobandy keeps moving. Bobandy wants to sweep but no luck. Bobandy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bobandy tries to get out of the position. Bobandy is working hard here to advance position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bobandy controlling Friendly's posture. Bobandy seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Bobandy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Friendly's guard.

Randy Bobandy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Friendly enables Bobandy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Friendly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Friendly is looking to stand back up but Bobandy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Friendly. Bobandy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Friendly wants to get back to his feet.
Friendly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bobandy pulls his head out easily. Friendly wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bobandy controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bobandy seems to be working for a kimura but Friendly defends the submission attempt. Bobandy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Friendly is trying to stand back up but Bobandy is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bobandy passes to side control. Bobandy moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Friendly throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Bobandy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Friendly has escaped the position, nice work there. Bobandy blocks the strikes from Friendly.
Bobandy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bobandy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Friendly seems a little lost for a moment, as Bobandy dominates the positioning. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. This is a sustained period of stalling by Bobandy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bobandy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Friendly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bobandy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bobandy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Friendly wants to stand but Bobandy is controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bobandy controlling from the top position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Bobandy dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bobandy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bobandy showed some decent athleticism there. Friendly is in trouble now - Bobandy has advanced to mount! Bobandy controlling his opponent. Bobandy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Friendly because Bobandy loaded up on that one. Bobandy looking to control and managing it successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bobandy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Friendly for as long as he can get away with. Friendly is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

He has one arm under the chin but Friendly has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Friendly defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bobandy's arms. Friendly wants to get back to his feet. Bobandy biding his time, controlling Friendly.

Bobandy misses with an elbow to the head. Friendly is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bobandy.
