Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuna Matata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyler White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hakuna Matata! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White doesn't manage to clinch there - Matata circles away.
White shoots in for a double leg but Matata sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. White misses with a few strikes there.
Matata gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and White holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Matata fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Matata decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in White's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler White. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Matata thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Matata is pushing down on White's leg trying to pass to half guard. White is fighting to maintain full guard but Matata has managed to sneak the leg through. Matata is looking for a kimura here.
White wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White is working hard here to advance position. Matata is sneakily working for an arm triangle but White sees it coming and defends easily. Matata looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

White is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Matata pulls his head out easily. White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Matata seems to be looking for submissions.

Matata is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. White striking off his back but it's not causing Matata any problems.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matata has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing White to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Matata is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - White pulls down on the head and he's put Matata to sleep! This one is all over!
