The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dlask postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Soares utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dlask scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dlask postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dlask in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dlask throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Soares works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Soares is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dlask frees his head nicely. Oh but Soares has switched to an armbar! Dlask is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
