Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kemar Powell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Bowers!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Powell misses.
Powell attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Powell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bowers manages to avoid it.
Bowers jabs at Powell's body.
Powell with the inside leg kick.
Bowers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Powell. Bowers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bowers feints a counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bowers takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Powell sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Powell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Powell is looking to land body kicks.

Powell lands the left hand.
Bowers takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bowers checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bowers swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Good leg kick by Powell.
Bowers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Powell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Powell throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bowers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Powell counters with a straight right hand.
Powell checks the leg kick.

Bowers drops Powell with a beautiful combination! Powell stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bowers is looking for the KO!

Powell is rocked!

It looks like Kemar Powell has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Powell throws the kick towards the body but Bowers avoids it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bowers throws a nice looking combination but Powell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A jab from Powell misses.
Bowers is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Bowers swings widly with a right hand
letting Powell counter with a right hand.
Bowers slips under a jab.
Powell takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bowers tries to land a front kick but Powell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Powell takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bowers has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Bowers looks to score with a jab to the body but Powell is just out of range.
Kemar Powell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Powell throws out a loose jab but Bowers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bowers lands a jab.
Bowers throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bowers misses with a left hand
and Powell counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Powell swings widly with a right hand
letting Bowers counter with a right hand.
Powell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bowers looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bowers lands the left hand.
Bowers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bowers scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bowers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Powell moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Powell.
Powell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Powell misses with a right hand

and Bowers counters with a crisp right hand that drops Powell! Bowers lets Powell back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Powell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bowers throws a combination that misses
and Powell counters with a nice body shot.
Powell seems to have got his legs back now.
Powell walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bowers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bowers tries a quick counter leg kick but Powell is wise to it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Powell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Powell throws a head kick but Bowers moves out of range.
Powell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ryan Bowers will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kemar Powell's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nice uppercut lands for Powell. That snapped Bowers's head back.
Powell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Powell throws a lazy uppercut

and Bowers counters with a crisp right hand that drops Powell! Bowers lets Powell back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Powell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
and Bowers counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Powell! He's just covering up as Bowers starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Bowers!
An out of breath Ryan Bowers thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
