Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Payn Anderson! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gracie Jr has his hands on Anderson's head, controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Gracie Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Anderson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie Jr!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson sneaks back into half guard. Anderson taking some punishment here, with Gracie Jr in his half guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Gracie Jr moves nicely into side control.

Gracie Jr trying to control but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson tries to reverse the position but Gracie Jr maintains control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gracie Jr locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Anderson is forced to tap!
