The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slippers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knox throws out a loose jab but Slippers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Knox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Knox lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Slippers sprawling to the canvas. Knox follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Slippers hang on?

It looks like Jimmy Slippers has been cut.
Slippers moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Slippers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Knox manages to get himself to full guard.

Knox has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slippers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Knox closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Slippers! Knox dives in looking to finish! Slippers is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
