Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 1701 p4p, 4739 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 104 p4p, 237 weight class). Doctore comes into the arena with Metallica - blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oenomaus Doctore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Tiger clinches with his opponent.
Doctore can't find room to land a body shot as Tiger controls the action.
Tiger misses with some punches.
Tiger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doctore walks away with a smile on his face. Tiger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Doctore has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Doctore gets a clinch.
Tiger is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tiger fails to pull guard.

Tiger manages to break the clinch.
Tiger explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Tiger scores with the left hand. Doctore knows he should have avoided that one.
Tiger misses with a jab, cross combination.
Great Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Doctore.

Tiger gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tiger tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Doctore avoids it.
Doctore will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tiger up against the cage.
Tiger wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doctore has him pressed against the cage.
Tiger throws a head punch that misses.
Tiger misses with a knee strike.
Tiger swings wildly with an uppercut but Doctore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tiger is looking to control Doctore's arms but Doctore gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tiger has his back to the cage.

Doctore scores with a nice hook to the head.
Doctore prevents a takedown attempt there.
Oenomaus Doctore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Great Tiger.
Doctore on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Doctore.
Tiger looking to throw knees to the head but Doctore is blocking nicely.
Tiger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Tiger is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Doctore is defending well for now.
Doctore pushes Tiger back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Tiger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tiger throws a punch but it's blocked by Doctore.
Tiger lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tiger's coach down at Sprawl & Brawl was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tiger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Doctore breaks the clinch.
Tiger lands with an uppercut that bounces Doctore off the cage and back into range.

and Doctore counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Great Tiger has been cut.

Tiger closes the distance and clinches.
Doctore drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tiger pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tiger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Doctore to the ground. Tiger is now in Doctore's guard.
Tiger won't allow Doctore to get back to his feet.

Tiger prevents Doctore from getting back to his feet.
Tiger controls from within his opponent's guard.

Doctore pushes Tiger off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doctore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tiger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tiger scoring well with a low kick there.
Tiger thows a leg kick but Doctore checks it
and Doctore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Great Tiger dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Great Tiger's cut.
That's time! Doctore's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Oooooh!!! Doctore has knocked Tiger down with a huge combo! Doctore steps away and waves a wobbly Tiger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tiger is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
