The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Koererlaerer on the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Gay G.
Koererlaerer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gay G defends it well.
Gay G scores with a jab to the jaw.
Koererlaerer fails with the takedown.
Koererlaerer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gay G counters with a straight right hand.
Gay G misses with a straight left.

Koererlaerer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gay G is not content to let Koererlaerer control the position.
Gay G is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Koererlaerer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Koererlaerer's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gay G has managed to slip his arm under Koererlaerer's chin. This could be all over... yep, Koererlaerer is tapping out! Submission win for Gay G.
