Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Bertazzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bertazzo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is It's a Fight. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertazzo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bertazzo forces Liddell back against the cage and clinches.

Liddell manages to break the clinch.
Liddell stuffs the takedown.
Bertazzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bertazzo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Bertazzo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bertazzo wants to control but Liddell is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Liddell stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bertazzo to get to his feet.

Liddell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Liddell has an Americana. Bertazzo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Liddell is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Liddell hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
