Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radio Philips!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radar throws a left and a right that both miss
and Philips counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Philips misses with a kick to the body.
A quick step to the side and Radar tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Radar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Philips counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Max Radar has been cut.
Philips tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Radar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Radar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Philips. Radar shrugs it off though.
Philips throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Radar moves out of range of the body kick.
Philips fails with an attempt to clinch.
Radar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Philips as he jumps to the side.
Philips throws a fast counter high kick but Radar manages to duck under it in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Radar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Radar swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Philips lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Radar dodges the punch combination from Philips.
Radar dives in for a single leg takedown but Philips sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Radar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Radar misses with a hook to the ribs.
Philips swings wildly with an uppercut but Radar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Radar is trying to pull guard but Philips turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Nice elbow from Philips.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Radar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Philips pushes off an throws an elbow but Radar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
I was talking to Radar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Philips pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Philips.
Philips is pressed up against the cage. Radar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Philips down to the mat. Philips avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Philips fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Radar is out of range.

Radar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Philips.
Radar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Philips sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Radar somewhat.
Philips misses with a wild body shot.
Philips rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Radar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Philips misses with a body kick.
Radar tries to bum rush Philips with a series of wild strikes but Philips uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Radar shoots in but Philips avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Philips goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Philips thuds a left hand into Radar's body.

Radar scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Radar throws a body shot but no joy.
Philips steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Radar.

Philips darts in and clinches Radar up against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Philips.
Philips lands an elbow just above Radar 's eye.
Philips missing with knees to the body.
Radar jumps guard but Philips turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Philips can't find room to land a body shot as Radar controls the action.
Philips lands an elbow inside that Radar shrugs off.

Max Radar's cut is getting worse.
Philips scores with a shot to the side of Radar's head.
Radar tries to pull guard but Philips holds him up against the cage and eventually Radar drops back down to his feet.
Radar is looking to take this one to the mat.
Philips scores with a shoulder strike.

Max Radar's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Philips misses with a knee to the head.
Philips gets underhooks to prevent Radar's takedown attempt.
Philips tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Radar avoids it.

Radar is rocked!
Radar is breathing heavily.

Philips with the Thai clinch, moves his hips back and unleashes a brutal knee to the head! Radar drops to the mat in a crumpled heap! Huuuuuuge knee there! WOW!
