Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Vernon (ranked 1812 p4p, 2187 weight class) and Rene Lafayette (ranked 252 p4p, 286 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lafayette's choice of entrance music: Erasure - Always. Rene Lafayette acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lafayette shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Vernon eats them both and turns towards Lafayette to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lafayette manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vernon on his heels. He'll look to pass Vernon's guard now, I'm sure.

Isaac Vernon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
