Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buff Bagwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuki Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buff Bagwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsuki Matsumoto! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagwell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matsumoto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bagwell tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Matsumoto is looking to reverse the position. Bagwell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Matsumoto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bagwell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Matsumoto is looking for a sweep. Bagwell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bagwell working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Matsumoto is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsumoto prevents Bagwell from improving position. Bagwell in side control lands a decent elbow. Matsumoto tries to improve position but can't. Bagwell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Matsumoto has escaped the position, nice work there. Matsumoto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Matsumoto is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Bagwell is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Matsumoto is trying to escape and Bagwell transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Matsumoto is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bagwell! Very nice indeed!
