Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between dony jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jock MacDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDougal looks to land a combination but jaa avoids it well.
jaa shoots in but MacDougal avoids the takedown attempt easily.
MacDougal throws a series of punches but jaa avoids them all with ease.
jaa keeps the fight on the outside.
MacDougal swats away the attempt to clinch by jaa.
MacDougal misses with the combination.
jaa shoots in looking for a takedown. MacDougal tries to sprawl out of it but jaa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MacDougal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - MacDougal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Good leg kick by jaa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
MacDougal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
jaa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
MacDougal wants to control from the top but jaa keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
jaa looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but MacDougal is defending well. jaa quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! MacDougal has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! jaa celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
