Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Quessy (ranked 3146 p4p, 3091 weight class) and Zac Davies (ranked 394 p4p, 385 weight class). Quessy comes to the cage accompanied by NTM - Ma Benz. Zac Davies acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Quessy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Davies parries the strikes from Quessy easily there. Quessy is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Davies to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quessy misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Quessy connects with a nice short shot to Davies's temple.

Quessy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Davies is trying to escape and Quessy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Davies is forced to tap! Nice work there by Quessy! Very nice indeed!
