Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 18984 p4p, 4332 weight class) and James Litchfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zakrzewski has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. James Litchfield has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Krzysztof Zakrzewski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Litchfield! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Litchfield clinches up against the cage. Zakrzewski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Litchfield stalling the fight.
A left hand lands to the body for Litchfield.
Zakrzewski goes for a takedown attempt but Litchfield pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Litchfield instigates a clinch. Litchfield stalling in the clinch.
Litchfield pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Litchfield dives in and grabs Zakrzewski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zakrzewski pushes down on Litchfield's head and hops out. We've been told by Zakrzewski's head coaches at Cozad MMA Helsinki that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Zakrzewski tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Litchfield counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zakrzewski won't be happy with that. Litchfield content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Litchfield stands up and we're back to a striking position. Litchfield clinches up with Zakrzewski and pushes him back against the cage. Litchfield jumps guard and drags Zakrzewski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Litchfield looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Litchfield looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Litchfield is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Litchfield tries to strike from the bottom.
Litchfield has Zakrzewski pulled in close to control his posture. Litchfield looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zakrzewski is one step ahead there. Litchfield throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Litchfield is controlling Zakrzewski's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Litchfield scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Litchfield in particular looking to stall. Litchfield is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Litchfield takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Litchfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zakrzewski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Litchfield has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zakrzewski gets tackled into the cage by Litchfield. Litchfield maintains the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
James Litchfield dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Litchfield fails to land the takedown. Litchfield goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Litchfield tried to score with a low kick but Zakrzewski checks it. Litchfield tries to land a front kick but Zakrzewski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Litchfield scores with a one two! Zakrzewski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Litchfield rushes Zakrzewski and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Zakrzewski is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Litchfield piles on the pressure and Zakrzewski crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Litchfield!
