Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chuck Norris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Elmeri Hautamaki! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hautamaki gets a clinch. Norris on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hautamaki has Norris pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Norris manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Norris is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hautamaki has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Norris is trying to keep an underhook but Hautamaki manages to get the takedown into half guard. Norris tries to roll over but Hautamaki keeps him under control. Nice strikes from Hautamaki there. Norris trying to hold on to Hautamaki's head to control him but Hautamaki postures up.
Norris is staying active underneath Hautamaki, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hautamaki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hautamaki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Norris defending well though. Hautamaki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Norris is just riding it out for now. Hautamaki eventually gives up the hold. Norris tries to roll over but Hautamaki keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris wants to control but Hautamaki is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hautamaki is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Norris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hautamaki is nestled in close to Norris, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Norris controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Norris wants to control but Hautamaki is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hautamaki prevents Norris from improving his position. Hautamaki winds up and cracks Norris with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ground and pound from Hautamaki. Hautamaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working. Norris has hold of Hautamaki's hands but Hautamaki slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hautamaki lands a nice short elbow. Norris is not content to let Hautamaki control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hautamaki prevents Norris from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Norris is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if Hautamaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ground and pound from Hautamaki. Hautamaki is thwarting Norris's attempts to control the position. Norris is not content to let Hautamaki control the position. Hautamaki is working for a kimura but Norris is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hautamaki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Norris tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Norris throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Norris wants to get back to full guard. Hautamaki trying to control the action but Norris is working from the bottom. Norris trying to control from the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elmeri Hautamaki dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hautamaki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hautamaki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norris's head. Hautamaki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Norris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hautamaki. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hautamaki connects with a nice short shot to Norris's temple. Hautamaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working. Norris is looking to control Hautamaki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Norris avoid being mounted? Hautamaki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Norris is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
