Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis International (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Travis International! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Thorsen! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorsen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in International's guard. International is looking to stand back up but Thorsen counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by International. International is looking to escape. International throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Thorsen manages to pass to side control. Thorsen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. International bucks up and tries to throw Thorsen off but instead Thorsen has got his back! International trying to get back to his feet but Thorsen is in full control for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. International is trying to stand back up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. International trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Thorsen lands a shot to the body.

Jon Thorsen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
International wants to clinch up but Thorsen keeps it at a distance. Jon Thorsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. International moves in looking to clinch but Thorsen pushes him off. Thorsen tries for a takedown but International sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Thorsen has taken the fight to the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. International can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Thorsen avoiding damage as International throws knees to the body.
Thorsen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but International regains guard immediately. International is looking to stand up but Thorsen isn't so interested in that idea. International is wriggling around but Thorsen manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. International strikes from the bottom but Thorsen uses the opportunity to move to side control.
International is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Thorsen is controlling him well. International tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. International taking shots to the head. Thorsen is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. International is trying to stand. Thorsen lands a nice shot to the head. International is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. International knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thorsen on the ground. International flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
International tries to lock up and control but Thorsen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. International is trying to stand. International is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. International wants to get back to his feet.
International tries to reverse the position but Thorsen maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! International is trying to get back to his feet but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Thorsen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
International throws a series of punches but Thorsen avoids them all with ease. International ducks down and throws a hook to the body. International throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Travis International is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. International tries to clinch and Thorsen counters with a three punch combo that has International backing up. International nods at Thorsen to acknowledge the strikes. Thorsen clinches. Thorsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but International prevents it.
International trying to stall but Thorsen improves his position.
International is trying to drag Thorsen to the mat but Thorsen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. International is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Thorsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. International is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

International seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Thorsen is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. International has had enough of the clinch but Thorsen keeps him there for the moment. Thorsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but International prevents it.

Travis International has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Thorsen. International is trying to stall.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Travis International. Thorsen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
International tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thorsen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. International wants to clinch so Thorsen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Thorsen prevents International from getting back to his feet.

Travis International has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! International looking for a guillotine here but Thorsen defends easily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. International throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. International fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jon Thorsen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. International goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. International throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Thorsen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Thorsen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
