Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Teague Shannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sein Win Pyae!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannon misses with an uppercut. Pyae saw that one coming.
Shannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pyae throws a shot from downtown. Shannon moves away and avoids it.
Pyae blocks a jab.
Shannon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Shannon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pyae.
Shannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shannon throws the kick towards the body but Pyae avoids it.
Pyae scores with the left hand. Shannon knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Teague Shannon has been cut.
Pyae drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Shannon right on the button. Shannon goes down! Pyae follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Pyae gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sein Win Pyae!
After the fight, Sein Win Pyae was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
