Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Perkele (ranked 48 p4p, 118 weight class) and Rob Roy (ranked 5 p4p, 16 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Topper Green and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Roy might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Perkele has got the better of the exchanges.

Perkele lands with a kick to the temple. Roy shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Perkele cracks Roy with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Roy falls to his knees and Perkele doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ispa Perkele!

A relieved looking Ispa Perkele thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
