The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Marui lands a right hook to the body.
Bader looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bader throws a predictable looking body shot
and Marui counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bader thinking.
Bader throws a jab when Marui was well out of range.
Marui staying out of range there.
Marui misses with a wild combination.
Marui digs a good body shot into Bader's ribs.
Bader swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Marui to counter with a crisp jab.
Marui moves away from the strike by Bader.
Marui takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Marui throws a jab but it's blocked by Bader.
A counter left hand to the body from Bader misses its target.

and Marui counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Naoko Marui has been cut.
Marui waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bader.
Marui punishes Bader's body with a nice straight punch.
Marui lands with a shot to the body.
Marui keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bader.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bader throws a hook to the side of Marui's head but Marui sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marui on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nice defenses there by Marui.
Bader misses with a few strikes there.
Marui drops his hands momentarily and Bader takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Marui steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bader.
A little jabbing left from Marui on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Oooooh!!! Marui has knocked Bader down with a huge combo! Marui steps away and waves a wobbly Bader back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Marui counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Oh Bader is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sloppy strikes from Bader. Those never looked like landing.
Bader swings away with a body shot that misses
and Marui scores with a counter punch that sends Bader to the canvas! Marui smells blood - he's punishing Bader with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bader has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Naoko Marui decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
