This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Leon Jones! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Buzz Williamson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Williamson closes the distance and clinches.
Williamson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williamson clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the ropes.
Jones is looking to take this one to the mat.
Jones fails to pull guard.
Jones wants to take the fight to the mat but Williamson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Williamson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williamson manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Williamson's guard.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williamson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones slips nicely into half guard.
Williamson wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Williamson is having none of it.

Jones has hold of Williamson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Williamson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Williamson is working to get back to half guard.
Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Williamson frees his head quite easily.
Jones is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Jones extends the arm and Williamson is forced to tap!
