Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Santana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Californication - RHCP. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Santana throws a head kick that Pierre semi-blocks.
Santana looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Pierre preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Santana pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pierre is keeping the position for now.
Santana trying to control the position from guard on top but Pierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pierre is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pierre is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Santana is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pierre keeping full guard, as Santana tries to pass.
Pierre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Santana gets to his feet. Pierre looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Santana darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Pierre manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santana is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pierre had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Santana is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pierre Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Santana's back instead.
Will Pierre go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Pierre is persistently looking for the submission but Santana is defending it well.
Santana looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Santana covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Pierre is hanging on to Santana's back as he tries to escape.
Santana breaks Pierre's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Santana is breathing heavily.
Santana thows a big elbow that misses.
Pierre tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Santana stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Pierre thows a body shot but no joy.
Pierre avoids the head kick by Santana.

Santana throws a head kick but Pierre moves out of range.
Santana throws a right and a left that Pierre avoids nicely.
Pierre tries for a takedown but Santana circles away easily
and Santana counters with a shoot takedown. Pierre fights it but they end up in guard.
Pierre looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Santana is defending well. Pierre quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Santana has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pierre celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
