Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Franko De Cremonesi (ranked 6126 p4p, 5683 weight class) and Choi Ong (ranked 571 p4p, 543 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Cremonesi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Paint It, Black. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Franko De Cremonesi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Choi Ong!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ong wants to clinch but De Cremonesi slips to the side
and De Cremonesi counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Choi Ong has been cut.
De Cremonesi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ong closes the distance but De Cremonesi moves to the side
and De Cremonesi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ong misses with an uppercut
and De Cremonesi counters with a straight right hand.
Nice cross by De Cremonesi.
Choi Ong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Cremonesi drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Ong onto his butt! Ong pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Ong is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ong closes the distance looking to clinch
and before Ong has any time to reset, De Cremonesi cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Franko De Cremonesi!
