Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ameri Can (ranked 4281 p4p, 1401 weight class) and Frankie Skinner (ranked 401 p4p, 160 weight class). Can comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Skinner has chosen Kanye West as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frankie Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Can tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Can on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Skinner scores with a jab to the jaw.
Can scores with a nice strike.
Can misses with a body shot.
A big right from Skinner misses.
Skinner connects with a body shot that sends Can's belly button to the back.
Can misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skinner.
Can takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Can misses with a body kick.
Can takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Can showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Skinner.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skinner. Can does a little dance to reset his feet.
Skinner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Can.
Skinner connects with a jab.
Skinner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Can was well out of range. Poor timing from Skinner.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Skinner throws a jab when Can was well out of range.
Can takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Can misses with a wild body shot.
Skinner looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Skinner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Can.
A low kick from Can misses
and Skinner counters with a straight right hand.
Skinner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Can.
Skinner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Can tries to land a front kick but Skinner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Can throws a sloppy body shot
and Skinner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Skinner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Can throws a wild body kick that Skinner sees coming a mile off.
Skinner let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Can misses with a leg kick
and Skinner counters with a stiff right hand.
Can connects with a single shot there.
Donk. Skinner catches Can right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skinner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Skinner is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Can had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Skinner cracks a nice hook into Can's ribs.
Skinner scores with a nice strike.
Skinner has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Can throws a half hearted mid kick.
A punch lands to the side of Can 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Skinner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Can doesn't seem bothered though.
Skinner lands with a right that hurts Can. Can looks to clinch but Skinner throws a short knee that drops Can. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Frankie Skinner!
