Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hall (ranked 1016 p4p, 1264 weight class) and Hudson Clarkson (ranked 157 p4p, 182 weight class). Hudson Clarkson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hudson Clarkson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hall appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hall avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hall is looking to counter with a shot to the body. A slapping leg kick lands for Hall.
Clarkson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Clarkson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hall tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Clarkson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Clarkson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hall is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hall and Clarkson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hall is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hall is pushing Clarkson's head away, looking to escape. Clarkson manages to hold on to the position though. Clarkson working away. Hall is looking for a sweep. Hall stops Clarkson from passing to mount. Hall is not content to let Clarkson control the position. Hall is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Clarkson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hall is trying to get back to half guard. Clarkson is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Clarkson gets to mount! Hall was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is in all sorts of trouble here.

Clarkson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hall is looking to escape. Clarkson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hall can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hall wants to hold on but Clarkson pushes him away. Clarkson controlling from the full mount. Clarkson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hall turns into him and now he's in Clarkson's guard.
Clarkson has his hands on Hall's head, controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clarkson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Our spies down at at Brotherhood MMA inform us that Clarkson has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Hall stands and throws Clarkson's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hudson Clarkson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Clarkson fails to land the takedown. Hall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clarkson. Hall looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Clarkson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hall defends it nicely. A little feinted left hand from Hall on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Henry Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hudson Clarkson. Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clarkson. Hall is looking to counter punch. Clarkson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clarkson somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarkson misses with a takedown attempt - Hall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Clarkson misses with a takedown and Hall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clarkson thinking. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Clarkson is defended easily by Hall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarkson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Clarkson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Hudson Clarkson has been cut. Clarkson is breathing heavily. Clarkson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Clarkson persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing. Hall lands a body shot.
Hall cracks Clarkson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Clarkson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hall finish him?
Clarkson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Clarkson gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
