Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Elkins (ranked 3996 p4p, 4616 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Elkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Salvacion counters with a body kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Elkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Elkins manages to step out the way in time. Elkins lunges at Salvacion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvacion's hand. Elkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elkins scores with a sloppy right hand. Salvacion should have avoided that one. Elkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elkins swinging wildly here.
Elkins tries to clinch there but Salvacion circles away.
Salvacion is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Elkins with a body shot. Salvacion circles away from the clinch attempt.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Elkins manages to step out the way in time. Elkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Elkins lands a right hook to the body.
Elkins shoots in for a double leg but Salvacion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Elkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Salvacion swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elkins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Elkins tries to clinch but Salvacion is having none of it. Salvacion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Elkins wants to sweep here but Salvacion controlling him for the moment. Elkins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Salvacion stays in close to Elkins's body and controls the position. Elkins throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control but Elkins is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Elkins wants to sweep here but Salvacion controlling him for the moment. Elkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace. Salvacion stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Elkins throws up his legs and catches Salvacion in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Salvacion tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Elkins! That came out of nowhere!
