Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Moder (ranked 2639 p4p, 5902 weight class) and Peetu Tam (ranked 73 p4p, 175 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jan Moder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peetu Tam!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tam sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moder to the ground. Tam is now in Moder's guard.
Tam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Moder pulls Tam in close to prevent any damage.
Tam is working Moder over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Tam prevents Moder from getting back to his feet.
Tam wants to control from the top but Moder keeps moving.
Tam might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moder haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moder wants to sweep but no luck.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tam wants to control from the top but Moder keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Moder, as that shot connected.
It looks like Peetu Tam has been cut.
Tam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tam is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tam holds on and takes a little breather.
Tam manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moder manages to get himself to full guard.

Moder throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tam throws a low kick, looking for Moder's leg but Moder calmly moves out of range.
Moder throws a good cross that connects.
Moder looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A jab from Moder misses.
Moder scores with a nice right hand.
Moder throws a solid leg kick but Tam takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Moder.
Moder's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Moder duly obliges.
Tam takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Moder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tam misses with a looping left.
Moder uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tam has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crunch! Moder slams his shin into Tam's torso.
Moder scores with a nice head shot.
A jab from Tam finds it's way through Moder's defenses.
Moder fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Moder cracks Tam with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That has opened up Peetu Tam's cut even more.
No joy there for Tam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Moder avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tam lands a really nice looking cross but Moder seems unphased.

Tam looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Tam ducks under a wild hook from Moder.
Jan Moder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moder throws a shot to the body.
Tam shoots in but Moder avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tam takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tam has Moder pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Moder manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Moder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Tam.
Moder connects with a right hand. Tam shakes it off.

Moder cracks Tam with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

After winning the bout, Jan Moder thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
