PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Draper (ranked 2651 p4p, 3172 weight class) and Long Thai (ranked 303 p4p, 356 weight class). Draper comes into the arena with Asshole blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sterling Draper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Long Thai!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Draper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thai tries to avoid it but Draper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thai to the ground. Thai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thai takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Draper misses with a wild combination.
Sterling Draper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Draper gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Thai.
Thai uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Draper.

Draper closes the distance and clinches up with Thai, looking for a takedown. Draper pushes Thai against the cage but Thai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Thai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Thai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Draper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Draper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thai avoids it really well and circles away.

Long Thai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Thai has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
