Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keizo Kasai (ranked 453 p4p, 2657 weight class) and Chito Jacare Salazar (ranked 63 p4p, 307 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chito Jacare Salazar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Keizo Kasai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chito Jacare Salazar ! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasai lands a slapping body shot.
Kasai jabs at Salazar 's body. Salazar tries to clinch up and Kasai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kasai connects with a body shot. Kasai jabs at Salazar 's body. Kasai wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Salazar moves to clinch but Kasai breaks away and Kasai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Salazar thinking. Salazar tries to clinch but Kasai moves away and Kasai counters with a three punch combo that has Salazar backing up. Salazar nods at Kasai to acknowledge the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salazar tries to clinch up and Kasai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Salazar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kasai, pushing him back against the cage. Kasai lands a hook to the side of the head. Kasai lands with a short head shot on the inside. Kasai lands a left hand that snaps the head of Salazar backwards. Kasai lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Salazar backwards. Salazar manages to break the clinch.
Salazar tries to clinch but Kasai moves out of range. It looked like Kasai was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasai bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salazar 's head backwards.
It looks like Chito Jacare Salazar has been cut. Kasai works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Salazar tries to clinch up and Kasai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kasai drops Salazar with a beautiful combination! Salazar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kasai is looking for the KO!
Salazar is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kasai circles away from the clinch attempt and Kasai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Salazar thinking. Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Kasai finish him? Salazar is looking to clinch. Salazar seems to have recovered his senses. Salazar darts in trying to clinch and Kasai counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kasai lands with an uppercut that bounces Salazar off the cage and back into range. Salazar tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kasai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kasai circles away from the clinch attempt and Kasai counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kasai pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Salazar back to the cage. Kasai follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Salazar tries to clinch but Kasai moves away and Kasai counters with a stiff right hand.
Salazar is rocked! Salazar tries to clinch but Kasai moves away and Kasai counters with a straight right hand. Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Kasai finish him? Salazar wants to clinch but Kasai slips to the side and Salazar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Salazar tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kasai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Salazar tries to clinch and Kasai counters with a huge left! Salazar is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kasai isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Salazar from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kasai!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keizo Kasai! Keizo Kasai retains his lightweight title! A victorious Keizo Kasai thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
