Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kamenev (ranked 1032 p4p, 1022 weight class) and Galen Dall Jr (ranked 148 p4p, 147 weight class). Galen Dall Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Kamenev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Galen Dall Jr! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Kamenev. A big right from Dall Jr misses. Kamenev takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Ivan Kamenev has been cut. Dall Jr moves forwards but Kamenev connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kamenev slips a jab and a cross from Dall Jr.
Dall Jr throws a right and a left that both miss. Kamenev misses with a hook. Dall Jr ducked under it nicely. Kamenev connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dall Jr momentarily.

Dall Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kamenev looking for a sweep. Not yet Kamenev, not yet. Kamenev is trying to keep Dall Jr in close.

It looks like Kamenev has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Kamenev will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ivan Kamenev's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Kamenev looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall Jr is just out of range. Kamenev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dall Jr keeps working. Kamenev wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dall Jr, who protects the arm well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kamenev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall Jr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kamenev tries to pass to full mount but Dall Jr defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kamenev is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dall Jr missing with punches from the bottom.
Dall Jr is staying active underneath Kamenev, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kamenev seems to be working for a kimura but Dall Jr defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kamenev working the head and body with strikes. Dall Jr preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Dall Jr felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Dall Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kamenev is working away from the top position though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

You can see the frustration on Dall Jr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kamenev throwing strikes but Dall Jr manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kamenev tries to improve position but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dall Jr swings around for an armbar but Kamenev sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dall Jr's guard. Kamenev wants to pass the guard but Dall Jr is keeping the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Kamenev dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ivan Kamenev's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dall Jr wants to stand and escape but instead Kamenev has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Kamenev showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kamenev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
