Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutsu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gutsu wants it to stay on the feet.
Reeves misses with a straight left.

Gutsu clinches up against the cage.
Reeves is working for takedown but Gutsu is calmly controlling the position for now.
Gutsu stops a takedown attempt from Reeves.

Reeves has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gutsu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Reeves is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gutsu pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Gutsu lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Reeves or not.

Gutsu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Gutsu wants to control from the top but Reeves keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gutsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reeves swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Reeves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gutsu is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Gutsu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Reeves takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gutsu is staying tight to Reeves's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Reeves tries to buck Gutsu off but Gutsu is having none of it.

Gutsu has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Reeves is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gutsu yanks on the arm and Reeves is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gutsu.
