And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Tommy Toehold!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Saldini stuffs the takedown attempt from Toehold. Toehold gets slowly back to his feet.
Toehold misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Angelo Saldini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Toehold.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saldini got a little sloppy there for a moment and Toehold has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saldini has managed to get both his arms back between Toehold's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saldini is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Saldini wants to pass the guard but Toehold is keeping the position.
Saldini has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Toehold to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Saldini is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Toehold pulls down on the head and he's put Saldini to sleep! This one is all over!
