CWC 305 - Prelims PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 24 wins and 28 losses; Ryan Hell! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 16 losses; Don Lemieux!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Hell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lemieux pinned against the cage. Lemieux gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lemieux tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Ryan Hell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
