Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Morpheus (ranked 2420 p4p, 3216 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 306 p4p, 399 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Diaz's choice of entrance music: The Rain. Nate Diaz has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Morpheus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz goes for a double leg but Morpheus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morpheus continues to drive forward.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Diaz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
An inside leg kick lands from Morpheus.
Diaz fails to land the takedown.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice takedown defense from Morpheus. No joy for Diaz on that attempt.
Daniel Morpheus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Diaz.
Diaz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Morpheus.
Diaz dives in for a single leg takedown but Morpheus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A head kick from Morpheus lands but Diaz takes it in his stride.
Morpheus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morpheus circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Diaz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Morpheus follows Diaz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Morpheus!
Daniel Morpheus took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.'.
The defeated Nate Diaz had this to say: 'There’s round-winners, and there’s fighters'.
