Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerricho Patterson (ranked 2910 p4p, 3562 weight class) and Trimagasi Junior (ranked 366 p4p, 444 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerricho Patterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trimagasi Junior!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Junior did well to prevent Patterson getting side control.
Junior controlling the position well.
Patterson wants to take a breather but Junior is having none of it.
Junior wants to get back to full guard.
Patterson is working for a kimura but Junior is defending it quite comfortably.
Junior wants to control but Patterson is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junior is looking for a sweep. Patterson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patterson is just content to waste time from the top position. Junior takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Junior really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Patterson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Junior looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Junior looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Junior!
Junior wants to lay and pray for a moment but Patterson keeps working.
Junior wants to stand but Patterson is controlling his arm.

Patterson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Junior just content to control the position.
Patterson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Junior wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Patterson wants to control but Junior postures up.
Patterson prevents Junior from improving position.
Patterson is looking for a sweep.
Junior controls the position.
Patterson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Junior is controlling the pace.

Patterson actively working from the bottom here.
Patterson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Junior tries to stand and escape but Patterson is controlling the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Junior with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Junior misses with a straight right.
Patterson takes one on the button.
It looks like Jerricho Patterson has been cut.
Patterson throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Junior to counter with a crisp jab.
Patterson lands a head kick!
It looks like Trimagasi Junior has been cut.
Patterson staying out of range there.
Patterson shoots and misses
and Patterson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circle momentarily. Junior darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jerricho Patterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Patterson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Junior throws out the jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Patterson lands a body shot.
Patterson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Junior avoids the head kick by Patterson.
Junior looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Patterson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Junior.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Trimagasi Junior dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Patterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Junior.
Junior scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Patterson doesn't seem bothered though.
Junior cracks Patterson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Patterson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Junior finish him?
Patterson is rocked!
Patterson fails with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Oh Patterson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Patterson is aggressively charging in as Junior backs up avoiding any damage. Junior tosses out a jab and Patterson runs right into it face first! Patterson is out cold! Junior dropped down on all fours and is barking in Patterson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trimagasi Junior!
