Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Uzi (ranked 3638 p4p, 4600 weight class) and Hanzo Hattori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzi comes to the cage accompanied by Driver's. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Uzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanzo Hattori! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzi feints and as Hattori raises his hands in defense, Uzi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hattori can't keep his opponent in guard - Uzi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Uzi moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Hattori. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hattori is letting Uzi control him for a moment. Uzi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Uzi lands a nice forearm strike. Hattori tries to get back to half guard but can't. Uzi controlling the position from side mount. Uzi cracks Hattori with a big right hand but Hattori just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Uzi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Uzi prefers to stall for the moment though. Hattori tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Uzi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Uzi scoring with punches and elbows. Uzi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hattori has escaped the position, nice work there. Uzi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hattori, who protects the arm well. Hattori tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uzi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Further stalling from Uzi. Uzi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hattori is trying to escape the position but Uzi is controlling the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Uzi dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Uzi throws a chopping leg kick but Hattori manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hattori throws a big counter head kick but Uzi avoids it with no problem. Hattori showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uzi.
Hattori wants to counter the offense by Uzi and move into the clinch position. Uzi misses with a head kick.
Uzi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Uzi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. This is a sustained period of stalling by Uzi. Hattori really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uzi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uzi working Hattori over with strikes. Hattori looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Uzi pushes past his half guard into mount! Hattori tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Uzi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hattori can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Uzi controlling from mount. Hattori wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Hattori tries to break free.
Uzi trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hattori doesn't escape. Uzi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hattori can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hattori rolls, trying to escape but Uzi keeps control of the position.
Uzi lands punches and elbows. I would not like to be Hattori right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uzi lands an elbow to the side of the head. Uzi is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hattori won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Uzi off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Roger Uzi! In his post fight interview, Roger Uzi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
