Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Richards (ranked 3990 p4p, 5632 weight class) and Nero Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Suarez was well out of range. Poor timing from Richards.

No joy there for Richards, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Suarez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Richards with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suarez connects with a nice short shot to Richards's temple.
Suarez is nestled in close to Richards, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
