And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Maldono!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldono takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Maldono connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Thompson's hands.
Thompson cracks Maldono with a right hand to the side of the head.
Maldono is rocked!
Maldono tries to clinch
and Thompson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Maldono out cold! What a finish! Thompson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
