Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Kulik (ranked 2676 p4p, 1797 weight class) and Bobby Knuckles (ranked 351 p4p, 252 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bobby Knuckles was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vasiliy Kulik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kulik. That one must have hurt.
Knuckles on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Knuckles stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jab, jab by Kulik - just one landing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Knuckles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been hearing reports that Kulik has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It seemed like Knuckles was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Knuckles's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kulik connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Knuckles scrambles back to his feet.

Knuckles throws an overhand right that lands on Kulik's shoulder, as Kulik tries to avoid the shot.
That kick from Kulik tenderised Knuckles's leg. Knuckles is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kulik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kulik does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
