Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anwar Rinda (ranked 161 p4p, 380 weight class) and Smashy Cartwright (ranked 25 p4p, 56 weight class). Cartwright has chosen The Hammer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rinda gets tackled into the cage by Cartwright. Cartwright maintains the clinch.

Cartwright breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cartwright clinches up with Rinda and pushes him back against the cage.
Rinda goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cartwright prevents it.
Cartwright stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Cartwright throws a knee to the head but misses.
Cartwright throws a punch but it's blocked by Rinda.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Cartwright manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rinda connects with a looping right hand.
Rinda has been working on his balance at London MMA Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Cartwright.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rinda enables Cartwright to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rinda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cartwright sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Rinda doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Cartwright paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Rinda - great work!
