The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang tries to clinch up
and Wang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Wang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quigley, pushing him back against the cage.
Quigley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wang's elbow.
Wang jumps guard but Quigley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Quigley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wang gets a clinch.
Wang jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quigley walks away with a smile on his face. Wang gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Quigley's corner calls for a 1-2. Quigley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wang tries to clinch but Quigley moves away

and Quigley counters with a nice right hand that sends Wang toppling to the canvas! Wang scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Quigley finish him?!

Wang is rocked!

It looks like Charles Wang has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quigley steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Wang is out on his feet! Quigley sets himself and nearly takes Wang's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
