Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Assis Dez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Tenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tenas has chosen War is my Destiny as his entrance music. Tenas has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Adam Tenas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tenas looks gassed!
Dez is working Tenas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Dez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dez lands a couple of digs.
Dez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tenas's head.
Dez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Tenas is rocked!
Dez with a nice head shot there.
Tenas is still in real trouble! Can Dez finish him?
Dez gets to his feet and stands over Tenas, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tenas felt that one! Dez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tenas from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Assis Dez!
