Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6537 p4p, 24374 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter B throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fighter B is in Fighter A's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is pulling down on Fighter B's head. It's preventing any offense from Fighter B, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to control from the top but Fighter A keeps moving. Fighter A looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fighter A pulls Fighter B in close to his closed guard and prevents Fighter B from doing any damage or advancing position. Fighter B is looking to stand up but Fighter A won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter A swivels and escapes. Fighter A stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B gets slowly back to his feet. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter A stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A leaves Fighter B with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter A looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Fighter A fails to land the takedown. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Fighter A changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to avoid it but Fighter A manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter B to the ground. Fighter B escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter A as he jumps to the side. Fighter B closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter A circles away. Fighter B stuffs the takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fighter A throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fighter A is in Fighter B's guard. Fighter A not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fighter A is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fighter B wants to stand but Fighter A is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter B gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter A counters with a nice body kick. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter A tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter B keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter A manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter A keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter B manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter B shoots in for a double leg but Fighter A sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter B is trying to defend but Fighter A finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fighter B wants to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fighter A. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Fighter B throws a half hearted mid kick. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it. Fighter B misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fighter B shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter A's guard. Fighter B tries to stand but Fighter A is controlling from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A has control of Fighter B's left arm, preventing Fighter B from doing any damage. Fighter B has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fighter A is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fighter A thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fighter B gets to his feet. Fighter A looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B throws a push kick but Fighter A slaps the foot to one side. Fighter B just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFighter A. Fighter B shoots in but Fighter A avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fighter B misses with a kick to the body and Fighter A counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter B won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A happy to just control the position for now. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B is trying to get back to his feet. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B is being controlled here. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. This is a sustained period of stalling by Fighter A.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter A as he avoids it easily. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
